                                            Strategic Plan

 

Our mission is to safeguard and advance the interests of students of The Correspondence School and to support parents, caregivers and supervisors.

 

1) To enhance educational outcomes for students

This will be achieved by

- providing effective advocacy for students on an individual, branch or national basis.

- providing information, support and training.

- enhancing the quality and level of services to students.

- respecting all cultures and their desire to preserve their own identity.

 

2) To support branches and members through an independent and effective organisation.

This will be achieved by

- each region having representation on the National Committee.

- encouraging working relationships between Parents and Supervisors Association branches and the National Committee.

- dealing with issues in a timely and effective manner.

- informative and consistent communication.

 

3) To promote our members needs in the wider community.

This will be achieved by

- preserving the integrity of our independent status.

- communicating effectively with The Correspondence School and other  organisations.

- supporting and encouraging parent representation on TCS Board of Trustees.

 

Time Frame: The TCSPSA Strategic Plan will be reviewed two-yearly
