Area 56 currently ranges from Awakino as the Northern boundary to meet Wanganui as its Southern boundary. Area 56 covers the hill country east of Taumarunui and is proud of the dramatic scenery in the Tom Cruise Movie ‘The Last Samurai’. Dominating our landscape is the beautiful Mt Taranaki and the rugged West Coast known for it’s top Surfing Spots.
