Mum to Sophie 12, Sam 10 and Sarah-Anne 8. Wife and Secretary to Gary, self-employed Plumber!  I run my own business distributing imported organic products from sanitary to food and cleaners.  As I travel a fair bit we home school our children.  This seems to work best for our lifestyle.  Our family has been on the Correspondence School roll now for seven years. 

We live on a lifestyle block in the Bay of Plenty between Whakatane and Opotiki on the East Coast.  I am offering my services as an Area Representative for the Parent Association in the Bay of Plenty as I am sure there are other families that would like to get together, be informed of the Parent Network and have support they don’t know about already.   

We recently attended Camp David in Hastings with our three children who thoroughly enjoyed it.  I would love to see these camps utilised more and attended by all full time correspondence kids.   If you would like to get in contact with other Correspondence families in our area for art/craft activities or other parents email me on  rachgary@slingshot.co.nz
